The Challenge
Generic skincare and tanning products often blend into the retail landscape with repetitive, uninspiring aesthetics. The challenge was to create a disruptive tanning oil brand that functions as a "small piece of art" on the shelf. The brief required a concept that could transcend standard beauty branding by leveraging cultural context and bold visual storytelling.
The Solution
Trumplan is a high-end tanning oil that leverages the iconic aesthetic of Donald Trump. By blending sophisticated peach-gold luxury with carrot-based oil vibes, the design creates an immediate visceral impact. It’s a brand that lives on the edge—somewhere between a premium lifestyle product and a bold cultural statement.

Gap between an iconic persona and a premium product experience, the colors evoke a sense of high-end summer luxury:
- Iconic Glow: A direct color sample from Trump’s skin tone, serving as the foundational DNA of the brand’s visual identity.
- Melon: A vibrant, saturated hue added to simulate a high-gloss, golden tan, while referencing the warm aesthetics of a summer sunset.
- Onyx: Provides a sharp, authoritative contrast that elevates the "pop" elements into a sophisticated, executive-level skincare brand.

The brand's logo is based on the Lobster font, customized to create a direct visual link to the brand's subject. The letter 'T' was modified to subtly integrate the iconic hair silhouette, transforming a standard character into a unique brand mark. This integration allows the logo to function both as a wordmark and as a standalone graphic element.
